Just lately I have noticed that there are some time that it is hard to access the FMS(First Metro Securities) site and at times it would even tell you that you inputted the wring password. There was one time also that the search engines anti-malware software warn me that such site may have a potential virus at it is not advice to proceed.
The reason for that is that there is a new portal and it simply drop the “.com” thus the additional portal is www.firstmetrosec.ph.
I also noticed this box in the middle which says about technical events of the day. It shows the stock codes of stocks that went up or went down for the days trading.
I hope you get to notice those changes and make well use of it in your daily stock trading strategy.

How long have you been using First Metro Securities? I’ll still have to choose between FMS or COL. Although for accessibility purposes FMS is good because you can directly connect your Metrobank account however, there are many negative comments with their services. According to them that website is very slow and you will lost a lot of opportunities in trading. I have read this in their facebook fan fage and the worse thing is there is no admin answering their questions.
What is your comment?
Thanks Jun for bringing up the problem with FMS. I have been using FMS for nearly two years now. I say there was a big improvement of the looks form the old version but I guess from the time they made some upgrades they have been experiencing glitches. COL was like that too and to date their current website is quick okay. Some reasons as well could be slow internet connection either from their side or the online investors side. And indeed having the ability to connect your Metrobank account to your FMS account is the biggest advantage of FMS over COL.
Here is what I can advise. Why not try the free demo account first before opening your account that way you can see for yourself if it would be better having an FMS account or not.

Hmmm nothing so far I guess except that some of the announcement has been there for a long time(I think they are not updating their news and other informative section). Will check it our sometime.

I just opened a new account at FMS for more than a week. But i have not used it ever since because the website is very, very slow. It takes several seconds to open the account and much more in viewing the different items in the menu. I was planning to transfer from COL to FMS because of the advantage in connecting my Metrobank account but with this issue, I am so disappointed. So, for now, I’ll just continue with COL; response is very fast.
